Aoyama Gakuin aims to become an attractive and unique comprehensive educational institution appropriate for the 21st century while continuing to uphold its founding spirit based on the Christian faith. To achieve this objective, it adopted the "Academic Grand Design (Future Vision)" in November 2006.
Aoyama Gakuin designated the "first year of reform" in 2009, which marked the 135th anniversary of its founding, and the entire institution is working on the 174 objectives that were set forth in the statement by the Chair, Board of Trustees.
