企画概要 / Plan outline

初等部との交流校アメリカンスクール・イン・ジャパン（ASIJ）との共同プログラムを計画しています。
ASIJと初等部の児童、生徒との文化交流及びSDGｓの学びを共有します。

ASIJより、「お米プロジェクト」（Rice Project）や様々なSDGｓプロジェクトを取り組んでいます。
「お米プロジェクト」は、SDGｓを踏まえ、今年度から自らお米を育て、おにぎりを作り、ホームレスの方々におにぎりを提供します。

初等部より、四年生は、社会の授業において「わたしたちのくらしと水」「わたしたちのくらしとごみ」を学習します。
わたしたちの便利で豊かな暮らしを支える社会基盤ついて学ぶだけではなく、その社会基盤が整備されていない国、またわたしたちのぜいたくな暮らしによって起きている諸問題について学び、わたしたちがすべきこと、わたしたちにできることを考えて発表します。
五年生は、社会の授業において「食品ロス」について学び、食品の廃棄量を減らせる工夫について話し合いをします。
六年生は、社会の授業で、江戸時代の循環型社会について調べ、レポートにまとめます。
また、SDGｓプロジェクトが中心となり、６年グローバルデーに向けて、初等部とSDGｓのあり方について話し合いをします。


We are planning a joint program with the American School Japan (ASIJ).
Students of ASIJ and Aoyama Gakuin elementary school will share cultural exchange and SDGs learning together.

ASIJ is working on various projects based on SDGs, including the “Rice Project”.
From this school year, they grow rice by themselves, make rice balls and provide them to homeless people.
Fourth graders from elementary schools will learn about "Our Lifestyles and Water" and "Our Lifestyles and Waste" in social classes. Not only will they learn about the social infrastructure that supports our convenient and prosperous lifestyles, but also about countries where that infrastructure is not well developed, and those problems caused by our affluent lifestyle and what we can do to prevent them. Fifth graders will learn about food waste in social classes and discuss ways to reduce the amount of food discarded. The sixth graders will examine the recycling-oriented society of the Edo period in a social class and summarize it in a report.

In addition, the SDGs Project will play a central role in discussions with the Elementary school on how the SDGs should be in preparation for the 6 grades' Global Day.
