企画概要 / Plan outline

初等部との交流校アメリカンスクール・イン・ジャパン(ASIJ)との共同プログラムを計画しています。
ASIJと初等部の児童、生徒との文化交流及びSDGsの学びを共有します。

ASIJから、様々なSDGsプロジェクトを紹介していただきます。
初等部からは、四年生は、社会の授業において「わたしたちのくらしと水」「わたしたちのくらしとごみ」を学習します。
わたしたちの便利で豊かな暮らしを支える社会基盤について学ぶだけではなく、その社会基盤が整備されていない国、またわたしたちのぜいたくな暮らしによって起きている諸問題について学び、わたしたちがすべきこと、わたしたちにできることを考えて発表します。
五年生は、社会の授業において「食品ロス」について学び、食品の廃棄量を減らせる工夫について話し合いをします。
六年生は、社会の授業で、江戸時代の循環型社会について調べ、レポートにまとめます。
また、SDGsプロジェクトが中心となり、6年グローバルデーに向けて、初等部とSDGｓのあり方について話し合いをします。



We are planning a joint programme with the American School of Education in Japan (ASIJ).
We will share cultural exchange and SDGs learning between ASIJ and elementary school children and students.

ASIJ will introduce a variety of SDGs projects.
From the elementary department, the fourth grade students learn about "Our Lifestyles and Water" and "Our Lifestyles and Waste" in social classes.
Not only do we learn about the social infrastructure that supports our convenient and affluent lifestyles, but we also learn about the problems that arise in countries where that social infrastructure is not in place and in our luxurious lives, and we think about what we should do and what we can do to present them.
Fifth graders learn about "food loss" in social classes and discuss ways to reduce the amount of food waste.
The sixth graders will examine the recycling-oriented society of the Edo period in a social class and summarize it in a report.
In addition, the SDGs projects will play a central role when discussing the nature of SDGs with the Elementary School for the sixth annual Global Day.
